Tammy believes that dog training should be fun for both the human and the dog.  She uses a positive, reward-based style that motivates your dog to do

what you would like him/her to do.  All training is guaranteed to work if you, the owner, follow through with the instructions that you are given.  You can learn

There are two possible reasons that your dog is not obeying you....either

he/she does not understand (let's change our technique) or he/she is not

motivated enough.  Tammy can help you find what motivates your dog and help

you have a happy well-behaved friend!

Reservations are required for all classes.

BOARD & TRAIN:
Two-week program.
$840
We offer a Board & Train program which allows your dog to enjoy the pampering

and amenities of being our guest here at Tru Luv Kennels, while learning basic obedience commands from a professional dog trainer.  Tammy Mills will teach

your dog to focus, sit, stay, down, come and walk nicely on a leash, while also

working on any other unwanted behaviors such as jumping and nipping.  Tammy

uses positive reinforcement, reward-based training that makes training fun for

the dog.  The program's success will largely depend on how you and your family

follow through with the training in your daily home life.  The program starts on Monday morning and goes through Friday, for 2 weeks.  You will pick your dog

up on Friday after meeting for a session with the trainer, (accommodations can

be made to leave your dog here during the weekend, see below) work with your

dog over the weekend, and then bring your dog back for the second week of

training on the following Monday morning with any questions/concerns you might

have.  Once the two week period is over, you will be asked to have a one hour session with the trainer to go over everything that the dog was taught.  Our

trainer offers 1 free session in your home at any time, as needed, in addition

to answering unlimited questions by phone and email to ensure the success of the program.

If you prefer to leave your dog here over the weekend, there is an additional

fee of $90 for boarding.

BOARD & TRAIN TOUCH-UP SESSIONS:
$100.00 per day
1 day of board and train to work on a specific issue.  This is only offered after

the initial Board & Train has been completed.
